I met Roberto online many years ago when we lived just a few blocks apart in a neighborhood near downtown. He taught me about good tacos and we shared a love for electronic music. He had an infectious smile and wasn’t afraid to act goofy when we would go out to the Hispanic disco next to the Colorado stripper bar. The last I heard, he was living in Puerto Vallarta. I see him walking down the cobblestone streets or jogging on the beach in my imagination. His independent spirit has always inspired me. Hopefully, our paths will cross again.
