Rebirth
2005-2006
This work was done right after relocating from New Orleans to Houston after Hurricane Katrina. These tend to be more visually spiritual in nature. They were all painted over the course of three months from October 2005 to December 2005. It was like releasing a breath that had been held in for too long. It was about letting go and moving forward.
